Associate Account Director
Job Description
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Lead small and medium projects autonomously, managing large projects with some guidance from Executive Leadership Team
- Maintain day-to-day workflow for internal and multiple client-facing projects simultaneously
- Create and manage budgets, status sheets and timelines
- Use comprehensive communication skills to make a bridge between client and designer
- Quality control of design and written work prior to sending to the client
- End to end digital project management from kickoff to launch
CLIENT MANAGEMENT:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs based on what success looks like
- Be responsive to clients’ requests
- Work with key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and ensure satisfaction
- Serve as primary day-to-day liaison with assigned clients and maintain positive ongoing relationships
- Be a good ambassador for Glantz Design
STRATEGIC WORK:
- Lead strategic discussions on larger client work
- Assess a category, a situation, or a problem and work toward solutions
- Author complex creative briefs and documents
- Collaborate with creative directors, designers and developers to understand and execute the goal of the client
- Write strategy, proposals, and engage on persona development
MENTORSHIP:
- Mentor Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, Project Managers and Interns
- Mentored by Account Director and Executive Leadership Team
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Stays within budgets and timelines
- Balances multiple projects at a time
- Maintains daily timesheets
- Maintains approximately 40 hours/week of working time (8:30-5:30ish) with some flexibility for early or late meetings or emergency work

- In 6 months: Author complex strategy, lead client start-up meetings, build out path for personal leadership style
- In 1 year: Run high profile projects autonomously, nurture new business

REPORTS TO:
- On a project basis: the most senior account person on project
- Team level: Studio Lead and Account Director

Bachelor’s degree
Senior level, minimum 8 years of proven success in client management
Relevant experience in marketing, digital design and strategy
