In your honor, we support social justice initiatives

On behalf of all of our clients, team, and friends of Glantz, we have chosen to support a dozen non-profit organizations that champion social justice efforts. Each of these amazing organizations is a personal passion of a Glantzer, who may have contributed time, talent, or a monetary donation. We encourage you to investigate each organization represented on our site and join us in contributing on Giving Tuesday.

We wish each of you and the communities we live in health and happiness in 2022.

826CHI

826CHI supports students 6-18 with their writing and helps teachers inspire students to write. We believe:

  • Great learning leaps are possible with one-on-one attention.
  • Writing skills are the key to future success.

“826CHI gives youths a space for creativity and a voice when they do not have it in school or at home. Children are the future of our country and the world. I find it so important that they receive equal access to an education that grants them the chance to find their voice and to express themselves.”

Brave Space Alliance

Brave Space Alliance is an indigenous-, black- and trans-led LGBTQ+ center on Chicago’s south side. We provide affirming, culturally competent, for-us by-us resources. Through mutual aid, knowledge-sharing, and community-sourced resources, we empower, embolden, and educate. Our goal is to build toward the liberation of all oppressed peoples.

“Brave Space Alliance’s approach is unapologetic, intersectional, and mutual aid-based. Their priority is to serve BIPOC transgender and gender-nonconforming LGBTQ+ Chicagoans. They fill a community need for gender-affirming spaces and Spanish resources, which is why I give.”

Connections for the Homeless

Connections for the Homeless serves and catalyzes our community to end homelessness, one person at a time. We provide financial assistance, emergency shelter, secure permanent housing, and advocacy.

“Connections is a pillar of strength in the Evanston community and one I’ve proudly supported for many years.”

Keith Glantz, President & Chief Creative Officer

Feeding America

Feeding America ensures equitable access to nutritious food for all. We partner with food banks, policymakers, supporters, and the communities we serve for an America where no one is hungry.

“Food is our most basic human need and too many Americans suffer from hunger every day. Feeding America fills the hunger gap that disproportionately affects BIPOC communities. Their operational efficiency means our donations stretch further to fulfill critical pandemic needs. How could I indulge during the holidays knowing others are going hungry? We must help.”

Anne Weber, Chief Operating & Client Happiness Officer

Heartland Alliance

Heartland Alliance advances human rights and responds to the human needs of endangered populations. We provide services to the poor, the isolated, and the displaced. Our services are comprehensive, respectful, and permanent solutions for a more just society.

“I chose Heartland Alliance because I respect their mission and vision. They provide safety and shelter to the homeless while uplifting them at the same time. Each year they help over 500,000 individuals. Helping Heartland out, especially during the holiday season, is very important to me!”

— Tiffany Harris, Project Manager Apprentice

Hesed House

Hesed House feeds the hungry, clothes the naked, shelters the homeless and gives people hope again. Hesed House is a national model for ending homelessness—one person, one family at a time.

“Hesed House’s efforts are organized, strategic, and they’re constantly looking for new grassroots ways to help the community. This holiday season, we can double our impact with a great donation matching program. We hope you’ll join us in meeting our $500,000 goal!”

Howard Brown Health

Howard Brown Health is rooted in LGBTQ+ liberation. We provide affirming healthcare and mobilize for social justice. We are agents of change for individual wellbeing and community empowerment.

“Their mission to eradicate healthcare disparities experienced by the LGBTQ+ community is inspiring. They serve over 40,000 Chicago adults and youth through their health and social service system. I’m proud of supporting their comprehensive LGBTQ+ health and wellness programs.”

— Irmak Kindap, Project Manager Intern

Keshet

Keshet creates an invigorating and loving environment for people of all ages with special needs and disabilities. Keshet creates communities of belonging through inclusive programs, community involvement, and consultations.

“With programs at over 70 sites, Keshet is an internationally recognized Chicagoland organization. Their mission is to help individuals and their families live their best lives, and continue to grow. This cause impacts my family, so I know the importance of supporting individuals of all abilities so they can lead meaningful, happy lives.”

Mikva Challenge

Mikva Challenge helps develop youth to be empowered, informed, and active citizens who will promote a just and equitable society. Our vision at Mikva Challenge is envisioning a stronger, inclusive democracy that values youth voice.

“Mikva Challenge serves 10,200 Chicagoland students with programs that focus on civics, advocacy, and public communication. I share their belief that engagement and participation is essential for inclusive, just societies—that’s why I give.”

Native Americans in Philanthropy

Native Americans in Philanthropy promotes equitable and effective philanthropy in Native communities.

“Native American communities have been hurt by centuries of colonialism and destructive policies. This accelerated the loss of tribal cultural traditions and people, and this is greatly overlooked. Native Americans in Philanthropy restores the Native legacy while promoting effective philanthropy. There is a long history of indigenous giving traditions, so let’s join in!”

Conner Brown, Senior Account Manager

Southern Poverty Law Center

Southern Poverty Law Center is a catalyst for racial justice in the South and beyond. We partner with communities to:

  • Dismantle white supremacy
  • Strengthen intersectional movements
  • Advance human rights of all people

“SPLC prioritizes fighting hate, learning for justice, and seeking justice. This November they celebrated 50 years of fighting for the most vulnerable people in society. They never take legal fees from their clients and don’t accept government funding. I often donate knowing their fundraising goes to critical issues.”
