What was the scope of the Evanston Public Library project?
The folks at the Evanston Public Library came to us hoping for an upgraded look, fresh organization and ideas for promoting their extensive online resources and events. We brightened things up and built a comprehensive calendar tool that integrates with their site, making it much easier for Evanston readers to find events relevant to them.
We also worked on finding ways to increase traffic to the newly designed site with promotional materials that emphasize some of the website’s best features and highlight the different resources that the library makes available online.
Additionally, we needed to make a site that would be easy to maintain. Dozens of employees and volunteers needed to be able to add and change content, so the back end of the website had to be simple and user friendly.
