Glantz Design emphasizes that creating an inspiring and personality-driven workspace significantly impacts productivity and creativity, transforming a 'soulless space' into an engaging environment. The company transformed its own Evanston headquarters into an industrial-chic, creative environment, featuring elements like a ping-pong conference table and exposed brick walls. To further illustrate this concept, Glantz Design showcases numerous extravagant offices worldwide, including Google's Engineering Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, and the LEGO Group's office in Billund, Denmark, as leading examples of unconventional and engaging designs.
As many of you already know, Glantz Headquarters has moved to new premises in downtown Evanston. We can’t speak for the previous tenants (a corporate finance firm), but if we had to spend our 9-5 day working in a cookie-cutter office lit by fluorescent lights… we’d quickly lose our minds.
So we enlisted the help of our friend Jodi Morton, from 2to5design, to transform the once soulless space into an industrial-chic, creative environment.
Renovations included grinding the concrete floors, exposing brick walls, installing modern light fixtures and a complete re-furnishing.
The open layout of our workspace allows plenty of room to roll around in our wheely chairs, and nothing promotes creativity like our chalkboard wall—covered with inspirational quotes that remind us we actually like our jobs.
Creating a workspace that reflects your personality and interests makes a huge difference in how you work. It’s easy for Glantz designers to be productive and creative in a colorful, playful office.
