Website Design Before and After: The Big Reveal

Is there anything more satisfying than marveling at a comparison of a before and after?

Entire home renovation TV networks have been created around this concept. And website design isn’t excluded from this glee. Without getting deep into the case study weeds for each of these projects, we invite you to enjoy the eye candy of these simple, yet gratifying “before and afters”.

Slide left to right to reveal some of our proud website redesign projects from the last couple of years.

Harbour Contractors

Before

The antiquated flash player prevented many from viewing this site, and those who could view it were not impressed by the scant information and outdated content.

After

As modern as their capabilities and as robust as their experience in construction, the new site shows off their deep experience.

Evanston Public Library

Before

Acting more as a news page than a guide through the library and its services, the old site left much “on the shelves.”

After

The new site quickly conveys how EPL is far more than a set of libraries to visit, but instead a plethora of digital and community resources as well. The megamenu acts as an express lane to get to the user resources.

West Town Bank & Trust

Before

Changing banks is a headache for consumers and businesses alike. The old site wasn’t able to work hard enough to get new customers over that inertia.

After

With easy to navigate menus and pages, users can immediately find the service they need. The artfully re-designed pages work much harder to entice and convert prospective clients.

The Family Business Consulting Group

Before

Although the previous navigation of the site appeared to guide prospective clients toward understanding FBCG’s offerings, in fact it was very difficult line to follow.

After

A true understanding of the prospective client audiences led to offering both concise statements for “scanners” and also deeper content for “active learners”.
